ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A scholarship has been created to help other women who have seen tough times by members of a historically Black sorority at Grand Valley State University.
The Lambda Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. began the effort last year to raise $450,000 over the next decade to help students graduate. In less than one year, the sorority has already raised $50,000.
