Autopsy: Coronavirus Played Role in Inmate's Death

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The death of a 50-year-old Kent County Jail inmate is being blamed, in part, on coronavirus.

Carlos Davis suffered a medical emergency while walking to his cell, which led to him falling down a flight of stairs.

An autopsy found a blood clot in his lungs, which developed because of his COVID-19 infection.
