Man dies after struggle with deputy and MSP trooper

Michigan State Police has two teams investigating after a man died while he was being arrested by an Allegan County sheriff's deputy and a state trooper.

Police were called to a home in Pullman on Wednesday morning around 7 a.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance.

Suspect Nathan Strample put up "considerable resistance" according to MSP as officers tried to arrest him.

The trooper and deputy realized he wasn't breathing and tried to revive him at the scene.
