Augusta's New President Determined by a Drawing After Tie

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A drawing was held Friday morning by the Kalamazoo County clerk to determine who will become Augusta's next village president.

Incumbent Village President John Thomas' name was drawn by Clerk Tim Snow, beating out challenger Village Trustee Heater Bowers. The November election saw the two with 199 votes apiece.
