The Ionia County Sheriff's Office says two people were saved after they were found unresponsive in a home.
Officials say a 81-year-old woman and 59-year-old man were found around 1 p.m. on Thursday when someone stopped to check on them.
They were unconscious and had stopped breathing.
An initial investigation found a carbon monoxide and exhaust-gas leak coming from the furnace of the home.
