ROCHESTER, Mich. (WOOD TV/WLNS)– CAmpaign officials say Michigan Senator Gary Peters will speak Thursday morning at an event to thank Michiganders for their support and reelecting him to office.
On Wednesday evening, Gary Peters was declared the winner of that election, capturing nearly 50% of the votes, compared to John James’ 48%
Most of the polls ahead of the election showed the James-Peters race as very tight, with Peters pulling slightly ahead in the days leading up to Election Day.
