Polls Open at 7 a.m. on Election Day, Will Remain Open Until 8 p.m.

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Polls across the state for Election Day open at 7 a.m.

Polls will stay open until 8 p.m. You'll still be allowed to cast your ballot if you're in line once the polls close.

Facemasks are not required, but the Secretary of State is asking voters to wear them at polling places to limit the possible spread of coronavirus. Apparel with messages that favor a candidate or ballot question will not be allowed, however.

The final absentee ballot collection from drop boxes will also take place at 8 p.m.
