CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Hoping to repeat his 2016 success in Michigan and clinch a second term, President Donald Trump will wrap up his 2020 campaign in metro Grand Rapids,
Campaign officials say Trump is scheduled to be at Gerald R. Ford International Airport at 10:30 p.m. tonight, though there’s a good chance he’ll be running late with several other stops earlier in the day. Whenever Trump arrives, his remarks will stream live on woodtv.com.
The President was also in North Carolina and Pennsylvania earlier in the day before stopping in Traverse City, where he predicted, “We’re going to win Michigan.” His next stop is Kenosha, Wisconsin, before he heads to West Michigan. Vice President Mike Pence was in Traverse City, as well, and is expected in metro Grand Rapids ahead of the president.
Trump told his supporters in Traverse City, “Tomorrow we are going win in this state and we are going to win four more years in the White House."
