MUSKEGON, Mich. - 71-year-old James Bortal of Muskegon was identified by authorities as the man who was pulled out of Muskegon Lake on Monday.
Bortel was found Monday afternoon in the water, and was pronounced dead when police arrived.
Foul play is not suspected by authorities, as drowning is being pointed at as the cause of death during the preliminary investigation.
