Millennium Park: Aims to carry on Secchia's legacy

Peter Secchia, who died on Wednesday, was among the group that came up with the idea for Millennium Park.

The Kent County Parks Foundation was created as Secchia knew the project would need a way to raise money and manage it.

The idea transformed into a 1,400 acre park with 6 miles of riverfront, playgrounds, 18 miles of trails, 6 acres of beach and boat rentals.
