Unemployment, Legal Liability Bills Signed by Michigan Legislature

LANSING, Mich. - Early on Wednesday, Michigan Legislature passed a bill to keep longer-lasting unemployment benefits during the coronavirus pandemic intact.

The Republican-led legislation backed liability protections for businesses, health providers and that have been sued over COVID-19 infections, but only if they complied with safety protocols.
