GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — With just twenty-eight days until Election Day, November 3, local and state officials want to make sure you know all your options to cast your ballot.

One of those education efforts involves Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson holding a press conference about the election at 1 p.m Tuesday.

The Governor and Michigan's Secretary of State will discuss voting options and it's expected that Gov. Whitmer will also sign legislation related to absentee voting.

The press conference will stream live on WOOD Radio's Facebook Page and stream live on woodtv.com.

Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons used her press conference Tuesday morning to announce the new Kent County Votes outreach program, which aims to make sure everyone knows their voting options.
