GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department is looking for new recruits, and are willing to help sponsor their training.
Officials say the city will hire police recruits, and sponsor them to attend Grand Valley State University Police Academy. the recruits will be paid, starting with an over $48,000 salary, along with city provided benefits.
