Ohio, Iowa now 'toss ups' in presidential race says Cook Political Report

US-VOTE-ELECTION

The presidential race in Ohio and Iowa are now each considered a “toss up” according to the nonpartisan Cook Political Report

The shift was announced Tuesday from leaning Republican, citing recent polls showing a tightening race between President Trump and Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Political analysts say that Ohio and Iowa, two states Trump carried in 2016, are more critical for Trump to win than for Biden.

The Cook Report added, 'Biden doesn’t necessarily need to carry either state to reach 270 electoral votes, but Trump likely can’t win without either state'.
