Solidarity March in downtown Grand Rapids for Breonna Taylor

A group gathered in downtown Grand Rapids Wednesday night to march for solidarity after a Louisville, Kentucky grand jury announced charges against a police office but not for Taylor's death.

The group was led by Taylor's family the lives in West Michigan.

They marched from Rosa Parks Circle to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The group chanted asking fro Chief Eric Payne to come outside and kneel with them.

The chief joined them and kneeled for 26 seconds in honor of Breonna Taylor.

The group then turned around and marched back to Rosa Parks Circle.

The event was peaceful.
