Southwest Michigan Prosecutor Charged With Bond Violations

CENTREVILLE (WOOD-AM) - A prosecutor at the center of a drunk driving case in southwest Michigan has been charged with bond violations after police say the was caught on camera buying alcohol last month.

John McDonough will avoid jail time, house arrest and a tether, but he will be forced to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings at least four times a week.

McDonough remains the Saint Joseph County prosecutor, but will lose his job at the end of this year after losing his primary.
