GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The wife of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, Dr Jill Biden made a campaign visit in West Michigan Tuesday.
Kids Food Basket in Grand Rapids was Biden's first stop. The local nonprofit grows and distributes food to kids in need in four West Michigan counties.
Mrs. Biden was joined by Hillary Scholten, the Democrat running for the 3rd Congressional District seat.
Her tour of the facility came less than a week after both her husband and President Donald Trump where on the east side of the state. Michigan is shaping up to be pivotal for both campaigns.
When asked by reporters if Michigan will see more attention from the Biden campaign, Jill Biden said yes.
