Survey: Most Americans wouldn't get a COVID-19 vaccine before the election

A new poll released by the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) shows a majority of Americans are concerned that a COVID-19 vaccine will be rushed to the market before it's ready because of political pressure from the Trump administration, according to

The poll results showed even if a vaccine is made available before Election Day, 54 percent of respondents said they wouldn't take it.

The Kaiser Family Foundation survey released Thursday, found 62 percent of respondents said they were concerned about a vaccine being authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before it is proven to be safe and effective. That number included 85 percent of Democrats, 61 percent of independents and 35 percent of Republicans.
