Police charge Illinois teen with murder in shooting at Jacob Blake protest

Detectives with the Antioch, Illinois Police Department say they have arrested a teenager Wednesday after two people were fatally shot during a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, WI. This, in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Commander Norman Johnson of the Antioch Police Department confirmed to the AP that the criminal complaint for the teenager indicated he was charged with first degree intentional homicide in Antioch, Ill.

Police reports show two persons were killed and another injured during a shooting at Tuesday’s protests about midnight.
