LANSING, Mich. (WOOD TV) — Federal authorities on Friday approved the payment of an additional $300 weekly benefit to 910,000 unemployed residents.
State officials said the additional aid, which is retroactive to Aug. 1, is on top of the state’s regular maximum payment of $362 a week. The payment comes after a larger supplemental $600 weekly federal benefit expired weeks ago.
