Deceased ballots misrepresented as a sign of fraud

The Michigan Secretary of State's office is clarifying some information after they announced 10,694 ballots were rejected during the August primary.

The office released the number last week with explanation of why the ballots were not counted including arrival after polls closed, no signature or a problem with a signature.

A spokesperson said they had 846 ballots rejected because the voter recently died which showed the system is working.
