DETROIT (WOOD) — Management with the Detroit Pistons announced Wednesday they have purchased their own G League team from the Phoenix Suns.
Pistons management said the Northern Arizona Suns development team will be rebranded and move into the arena that the Pistons are building on Wayne State's campus .
Pistons officials said the team is expected to start playing there during the 2021-2022 season.
