GRPD says multiple Kent County car dealerships broken into overnight

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say they are investigating a string of break-ins at car dealership around the Grand Rapids area overnight.

Public Information Officer Raul Alvarez with GRPD said around 6 a.m. Thursday authorities received a report of an alarm at Pfeiffer Lincoln, located on 28th Street SE near Breton Road SE.

Alvarez said it’s unknown at this time if any vehicles were stolen.

GRPD is also investigating reports of four other break-ins at the following car dealerships overnight: Used Car Motor Mall of Grand Rapids on 28th Street SE ; Keller Ford on Alpine Avenue NW; Betten Imports on 28th Street SE; and Prestige Imports West Michigan on 28th Street SE in Kentwood.
