CROCKERY TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A 10-plus hour armed standoff near Nunica ended with the peaceful surrender of a 50-year-old suspect, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said.
His name will be revealed during his arraignment. He faces weapons and assault charges.
It began after he sent bizarre emails to employees at the township hall in Crockery Township. They called 911 after he visited the facility.
Later, he pulled a gun on officers who responded to his home.
