Budget Cuts Approved for Grand Rapids Public Schools

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Trustees have agreed to slash $10.6 million from the Grand Rapids Public Schools budget.

The reductions were forced due to the coronavirus pandemic's economic fallout.

Schools will not be closed. Under the current spending plan, Montessori and pre-K programs will also not be affected.
