MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - City officials in Muskegon says they need help funding the construction of a new statue at Pere Marquette Park.
WOOD-TV says it would be 22 feet tall and would feature steel, glass and LEDs.
They're searching for $50,000 in public donations. The remaining cost will be paid for through Michigan Economic Development Cooperation funds.
