HOPKINS (WOOD-AM) - The home of the Hopkins village president was damaged by a storm-felled tree yesterday.
Terry Weik tells WOOD-TV that it came down as he was hanging flower baskets.
"The wind was blowing like I’ve never seen it before on the front porch," Weik said. "The tree lifted up, it twisted, and it came at me so quick."
There was significant roof and wall damage.
