Cases trending downward as Michigan records 108 new COVID-19 cases Monday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) —State of Michigan officials recorded an additional 25 deaths linked to coronavirus and on Monday confirmed 108 more cases, state data shows.

New data released Tuesday afternoon showed the total number of deaths to 5,698 and the number of total cases to 59,107 since the outbreak began in March.

Kent County recorded three new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total to 106. The county has reported 3,966 cases since the outbreak started.
