Our Media Partners at Target 8 on Thursday interviewed Karla Anderson who was the woman who wielded the bat against the protesters who were walking through East Grand Rapids on Wednesday.
She told Target 8 that she had the bat because of the riots that happened Saturday night in downtown Grand Rapids.
Protesters were able to diffuse the situation with one of them taking the bat and another bringing her to the side of the road.
