TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WOOD) — Businesses in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula are back open as of Friday.
Customers can now visit bars, restaurants, and retail stores. In fact, some places got an early start and opened right as the clock struck midnight.

Under the restrictions, capacity at bars and restaurants, in general, is limited to 50 percent, and only 20 people are allowed inside at a time.
