GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Health department officials say Michigan has now recorded another 90 confirmed deaths linked to coronavirus, bringing the total statewide number to 4,674.
Officials also clarified that a routine check of death certificates found that 19 of those 90 deaths had not been previously reported to the state.
State data released Tuesday afternoon confirmed 469 new COVID-19 cases, for a total of 48,021.
Health department officials said Kent County recorded at 84 new cases of coronavirus, with three additional deaths from the virus. The county has a total of 2416 confirmed cases and 45 total deaths
