Gov. Whitmer To Allow Michigan Construction companies to reopen May 7

LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan's construction companies have been greenlighted to reopen next week after an executive order is signed by Governor Whitmer.

WOOD TV/News 8 received confirmation that Gov. Whitmer will sign an executive order Wednesday allowing Michigan construction contractors to reopen beginning May 7.

Later today, the governor's office will provide an update on the state’s latest efforts to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
