WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — The Walker Police Department reported this morning that a black bear was hit and killed by a vehicle in Walker Tuesday morning.
An officer with the Walker Police Department told WOOD TV the crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. on the ramp from Alpine Avenue to the westbound lanes of I-96.
Sadly, Walker Police confirmed that the male black bear was killed as a result of injuries from the crash.
