The Pentagon has confirmed that more than a dozen ballistic missiles were launched from Iran targeting at least two airbases in Iraq where American troopers are stationed.

A few hours after the attack, President Donald Trump addressed the situation on Twitter, saying "All is well!"

"Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far," Trump tweeted.

The president added that he would be making a statement this morning.
