2 One man was shot and killed at an "after hours" party on 28th Street in Grand Rapids early Sunday morning. 

Police were already on scene for reports of fighting in the area when the shots rang out. 

This marks the 14th homicide in the city this year.

3 Funeral services are scheduled in Detroit for longtime Democratic Congressman John Conyers. 

Former President Bill Clinton and Rev. Jesse Jackson are among those expected to attend.

The CDC and the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service is linking an outbreak of salmonella infections back to ground beef. As of Nov. 1, 10 people in six states have been infected.
