1 Police in Grand Rapids are investigating after three people were shot early Monday morning. 

According to GRPD, the call came in just after midnight on reports of a shooting in the 1000-block of Kensington Avenue SW.

According to police, the suspects entered the residence by force before the shooting took place. They took off on foot after the shooting. Police called in a K9 to track the shooters, but were unsuccessful.

2 The U.S. Supreme Court's fall session begins today. Some of the cases being considered include the fight over a $7.5 billion natural gas pipeline. The Court will also consider a case that could lead to new protections for the unborn. 

3 The United Auto Worker's Union strike against General Motors is having a big economic impact, and it's growing with each passing week. The walkout is starting to cause particular harm in the Midwestern states where most of GM's assembly plants are located.
