Dispatchers: Three vehicles crash in Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was injured after a three-vehicle crash in Wyoming.

It happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Byron Center and 36th Street.

Authorities say an eastbound Chevy Impala was speeding and ran a red light. It struck a pickup truck broadside — hard enough to send it airborne. The pickup landed on a northbound Chevrolet Malibu, according to authorities.

The at-fault driver received serious, but not life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured, including a three-year-old in the Malibu, authorities said.

The scene was cleared around 8 p.m.
