ALBION, Mich. (WOOD) — Police responded to a 55-year-old woman who had fallen out of a kayak and was trapped underwater in Albion.
The Albion Department of Public Safety was called around 7:30 pm. Friday near the dam at Porter and Monroe Streets.
Police say it took about 10 minutes to get the woman free and out of the swiftly moving water.
