Unclear who fired shots that wounded 2 friends near Grand Haven

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — Two men, reportedly friends, were shot inside a home near Grand Haven Tuesday, but it's unclear who pulled the trigger.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 14000 block of 108th Avenue near the Sleeper Street intersection in Robinson Township, southeast of Grand Haven.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said that when deputies arrived, they found a 43-year-old Ravenna man and 57-year-old Robinson Township man with gunshot wounds to the chest. They were rushed to the hospital.

"Both received life-threatening injuries and are still being treated," sheriff's office Capt. Mark Bennett said later Tuesday.

Investigators believe the two friends had some sort of disagreement before the shooting. Neighbors told 24 Hour News 8 they heard arguing in that area late in the night.
