Kzoo man admits to ripping off $1M from Apple

SAN JOSE, Calif. (WOOD) — A Kalamazoo man has admitted to running a scheme that bilked about $1 million from Apple.

In a federal courtroom in California Monday, Van-Seyla Mork, 25, pleaded guilty to a count of wire fraud and a count of money laundering, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Several other counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and money laundering were dismissed under the terms of a plea agreement.
