GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — The new Hyatt Place Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids is on track to open in August.
The hotel at 140 Ottawa Avenue NW at Pearl Street will have 12 floors and house 160 guests. There will be a 24/7 coffee and cocktail bar, indoor pool, fitness center and ground-floor restaurant.
The next step is adding furniture and hiring. The hotel says they will hire up to 55 associates and will be getting those people started in the next couple months.
