GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids firefighters contained a garage fire around 7:50 p.m. Saturday night.
It happened on the 10th block of Shelby Street, near Division Avenue. Authorities say the fire spread to a shed, which received minor damage. Officials say no one was home during the incident and no one was injured.
Saturday was a busy night for the Grand Rapids Fire Department. As of around 8 p.m., the Shelby Street blaze was the sixth fire they had responded to on Saturday.
