HOLLAND, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — A former board member for West Ottawa Public Schools has been ordered to stay at least 1,000 feet away from schools after pleading guilty to a child sex crime.
An Ottawa County judge Monday sentenced 64-year-old Douglas Mahn a day in jail and five years of probation in connection to the 2018 incident, court records show.
The sentence came six weeks after Mahn pleaded guilty to a June 2018 charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child under the age of 13. A March 2018 charge of second-degree CSC was dismissed, according to court records.
