Pilot makes emergency landing in Zeeland, no injuries

ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A plane that had been circling the Ottawa Executive Airport after its front landing gear malfunctioned landed safely on the ground Sunday afternoon.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said they received a report just before 1 p.m. of a 1990 Glass Air single-propellor plane, piloted by a 56-year-old Zeeland man, was circling the airport in an attempt to make an emergency landing because the front landing gear was not working.
