BIG 3

While Democrats continue investigations..

1 The Trump administration says the entire Obamacare / Affordable Care Act should be struck down. Previously, the Justice Department's said that only portions of the law werent valid.

A federal judge in Texas declared the entire law unconstitutional in December, and now the administration says it agrees with that position as the case is appealed.

2 The House votes today to override the President’s first veto its likely to fail. Leaving his declaration of a national emergency to build the wall intact.

While congress votes.. The Pentagon notified Congress late Monday that it authorized the transfer of up to $1 billion to erect 57 miles of "pedestrian fencing" 18 feet high along theU.S.-Mexico border in direct support of President Trump's national emergency declaration from last month.

3 And speaking of votes..

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will put the Green New Deal to a vote today in a move that will force Democrats to take an official stand on the measure and thus pit the party’s moderates from its progressive wing.

AOC, who proposed the new deal, calls today’s vote a waste of time and money.

But why?

If she proposed it, why shouldn’t it be voted on?

WEATHER

Sunny and 48 today. Up to 54 tomorrow. A chance of a wintry mix when temps dip to a high of 38 on Saturday.
