WML Monday Show Notes: Mueller Report, & Grand Rapids Public Museum

Today on West Michigan Live, Professor Allan Saxe joins the show to react to the Mueller Report and takes your calls on the topic. Kate of the Grand Rapids Public Museum also joins the show to discuss taking advantage of the Museum while on spring break!

BIG 3

1 NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION

The Mueller investigation has ended. But is it all over or just beginning?

AG Barr’s letter to Congress states that Soecial Counsel found no collusion with Russia from the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

But Mueller leaves a crumb for Democrats saying that while he found no evidence of obstruction, the report doesn’t exonerate the President.

Leaving open the hole for House Democrats to continue investigations leading up to a very contentious 2020 election.

But what are most headlines leaving out?

You’re hearing that this report does not exonerate the President. But what’s being left out is what comes next.

It’s what in the following paragraph.

In the 4 page memo released yesterday, AG Barr and Deputy AG Rosenstein have concluded that “evidence is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.”

But that’s being left out of headlines. And not being reported.
