EAST LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Collin Trierweiler hit a pair of free throws with 0.7 seconds left to give Pewamo-Westphalia a 53-52 victory over Iron Mountain in the Division 3 state championship Saturday evening at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Just seconds prior, Trierweiler converted a layup to bring the Pirates to within a point. On the ensuing possession, Iron Mountain's Tony Feira was whistled for a travel, giving the ball back to Pewamo-Westphalia with five seconds left.
