KALAMAZOO, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — A wanted man was lodged in the Kalamazoo County Jail after a K-9 track lead officers to his whereabouts Sunday morning.
.An officer from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Cobb Avenue and Elizabeth Street around 5:30 a.m. when the vehicle fled the scene.
Officers did not pursue the vehicle but found it in a near-by parking lot soon after with the suspects fleeing on foot.
The 19-year-old passenger of the vehicle was found hiding in a residential area after officers deployed a K-9 unit, also known as K-9 Bach, who successfully tracked his location.
