ASNOVIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Was the mysterious death of a West Michigan man the work of the “Smiley Face Killers”? A show airing on Oxygen Network Saturday hopes to answer that question.
Todd Geib was found dead in Casnovia Township’s Obenhall Lake in 2005.
Police concluded the 22-year-old man accidentally drowned, but out-of-state medical experts the family turned to disagreed.
They found Geib’s brain had little decomposition, there was no water in his lungs, he died on his back and his body was in a vertical position — all signs his death was no accident.
