GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Freezing rain is creating treacherous, icy road conditions across West Michigan Wednesday morning.
Michigan State Police encouraged residents to use caution on the roads and at home through Thursday due to treacherous road conditions and power outages.
Tens of thousands of Consumers Energy customers were without power Wednesday morning as the freezing rain brought down power lines and snapped trees.
If you encounter an intersection without a working traffic light, treat it as a four-way stop.
